Lesson 3 · 16 min

The 5 in your niche and the rules that never change

A radar is only as good as the sources it watches and the rules it follows. Finance, health, and law use the same engine, but each niche has its own required disclaimer, what counts as a fact, and what never goes live. In this lesson, you’ll choose your references and write the rules for your niche.

Start the lesson
A corkboard with five cards for reference channels and a sheet of rules pinned beside them.

In this lesson, you will

  1. 1How to choose references (and who never makes the cut)
  2. 2The four parts of regras.md
  3. 3How finance, health, and law each handled it
  4. 4How a rejection becomes a new rule

Goal: create canais.md and regras.md for your niche: 5 established references, what counts as a fact, the required disclaimer, and what never gets published.

01From references to rules

Click each block. This is what goes in canais.json and in each radar’s script.

Click each block in the diagram to see what it does.

The rules aren’t decoration: checar.py and the script prompt read every one of them.

02Three niches, three ways to protect viewers

Real radar rules. Use them as a starting point for your own.

1. Finance

References: the Anbima FInfluence ranking’s Top 10. Disclaimer: "This is not investment advice."

Elections and politics: the video reports what each person said, always attributed and without taking sides.

RuleOnly include numbers from the transcript, with the source (channel, date, title) on screen.

03The two files for your niche

Copy, fill in, and save them in the agent’s folder (the same one from step 1).

| Name | Link | Video frequency | Topic that gets the most traction | Active |
|---|---|---|---|---|

Emerging names are never added. New additions only with my OK.
regras.md
# Niche rules: <your niche>

## What counts as fact
- Only what’s in the transcript, with the source (channel, date, title) on screen.
- Everything is reported and attributed ("according to them").
-

## Required disclaimer (in every video)
-

## I never publish
- Instructions for someone watching about their specific case.
- Taking a side in politics.
-

## Rules from gate refusals
- YYYY-MM-DD:
canais.json (radar format)
{
  "_como_editar": "'ativo': false pauses without deleting. Emerging names are never added.",
  "canais": [
    {"handle": "@canal1", "nome": "Channel name", "rk": "CRITERIA · FIELD", "ativo": true},
    {"handle": "@canal2", "nome": "Channel name", "rk": "CRITERIA · FIELD", "ativo": false}
  ]
}
Repository example

Across the three radars, if another established and trustworthy name appears in the spotlight, the system suggests adding it in the bot’s message. Emerging names are never added, and additions only happen with the owner’s OK.

In health, the criteria also require professional registration.

04Practice: the 5 in your niche

Exercise 2 in sequence 4.
