From chat to agent: the four steps
In chat, you guide everything, and when you close the window, the work stops. An agent reads your files, performs tasks, and keeps going while you do something else. The shift isn't about changing models: it's about changing where you work.

In this lesson, you will
- 1Why chat has a ceiling
- 2The four steps and the order they follow
- 3Find your starting point
- 4Build your one-page diagnosis
Objective: say which step you're at today and what concrete step comes next.
01Overview
Each step builds on the one before it. If you skip the first, you’ll get stuck on the next three.
Scroll down: each step below lights up its part of the diagram.
- 1/5
1 · Terminal
The agent (Claude Code or Codex) works inside one of your folders, reads a rulebook (AGENTS.md), and lets you undo any mistake with Git. This is the foundation for everything that comes next.
- 2/5
2 · Assistant
With INTELECTO, you get your own Telegram assistant, with memory and a style you define, using a cloud or local model.
- 3/5
3 · Queues
inemaccbot saves each request as a task, resumes where it left off, and stops at a gate when it needs your approval.
- 4/5
4 · Social media
r7e, promoavatar, and the xviral tools (finviral, saudeviral, advviral) publishing regularly, with verified numbers and the source on screen.
- 5/5
All four together
Each step reuses the one before it: the terminal folder and rules, the .env with the keys, the queue that stores tasks, and the gate before anything important. That’s why the order is essential.
No magic: there’s no “render while you sleep” if the system doesn’t run correctly.
02Find your starting point
Click the situation that sounds most like you today.
1. I only use chat
Start with step 1. Do OSWork Quick, then the six exercises in sequence 1.
First-week goal: get to your folder using only the terminal and watch the agent create a file inside it.
Open the terminal and create the projetos/meu-primeiro-agente folder.
2. I already use the terminal
You’re already at step 1. Check that you have AGENTS.md, Git, and .env in .gitignore; if so, move on to step 2.
Install your Jarvis with INTELECTO and take its course.
Write meu-jarvis.md before installing anything.
3. I already have an assistant
Queue time. Before installing inemaccbot, run the 30-line homegrown queue to understand entrada, feito, and falhou.
Then list 10 repetitive tasks and mark where a gate is needed.
Fill in the table of 10 tasks, with at least two that have a gate.
4. I already have a queue
Step 4. Use r7e for the format and finviral as a model for your niche’s channel.
Write your niche rules before automating: without a queue and a gate, automating social media means posting the wrong thing faster.
Choose 5 reference channels and write canais.md and regras.md.
03Your one-page diagnosis
Copy it, fill it in, and save it in your project folder. It becomes your learning roadmap.
# My diagnosis — From chat to agent ## Where I am today - [ ] I only use chat - [ ] I use the terminal with Claude Code or Codex - [ ] I have my own assistant running - [ ] I have a task queue with a gate ## What makes me lose time (3 items) 1. 2. 3. ## Next step and date Step: First exercise: By (date): ## How I’ll know it worked “Done when”:
- Where I am: I use Claude in the browser every day.
- I lose time: rewriting proposals, summarizing meetings, answering the same questions.
- Next step: 1 · Terminal. Exercise E1 by Friday.
- Done when: I can reach the folder using only the terminal and say which folder I’m in.
Writing down your starting point helps you avoid the most common mistake: skipping step 1 because it seems simple. The diagnosis is also the first file the agent will read when you get to the terminal.
