What to sell: a measured non-branded result, not position 1
The client comes asking for first place on Google, 500 articles, or to "show up in ChatGPT." Nobody controls that, and whoever promises it loses the client in month 6. What you can sell is what you control and can prove: diagnosis, plan, measured follow-up, and training.
2The promises you don't make, and what to offer instead
3The four deliverables you can sell and prove
4Why the number that proves the work is the non-branded one
Goal: separate what the client asks for from what you can deliver and measure, and write your offer of diagnosis, plan, follow-up, and training.

Tap each block.
Click each block in the diagram to see what it does.
You sell what you control and prove it with a number the client didn't have before.
02 · Why sell this way
Tap each step.
1. Building got easy
The client can already generate a site, a page, and text with AI. Selling only the build turns into a price fight.
What they can't do alone is know whether it works, what is wrong, and what to do first.
2. Trust is the product
The company buys someone who diagnoses, reviews, tracks, and trains, and who says clearly what they know and what they don't know how to do.
In SEO this becomes: diagnosis, plan, measured follow-up, and training.
3. The total is misleading
In the 28-day baseline for inema.club, 639 of the 647 clicks from the top 25 searches were branded. Non-branded searches added up to 8 clicks.
If you show the client only the total, you're showing people who already knew them.
At INEMAIn four weeks, inema.club's non-branded impressions went from 8 to 157. Non-branded clicks stayed at 0. That's the kind of honest number you report.
4. What not to do
A network of cross-linked sites, a paid indexer, Google Indexing API for ordinary articles, one page per keyword variation.
A manual action takes down all of the client's domains at once. Lesson 7 covers each one in detail.

Positioning in 2 lines
I help [type of business] get found by people who don't know the brand yet, on Google, on Bing and in AI answers.
I do the diagnosis, the plan, measured monthly follow-up and team training. I don't promise rankings, I don't sell article packages and I don't guarantee AI citations.
Swapping a promise for a deliverable
CLIENT REQUEST -> WHAT I OFFER
"first place on Google" -> diagnosis + plan + non-branded number measured every week
"500 articles with AI" -> a few pages with original data, at a pace the site can handle
"show up on ChatGPT" -> a fixed question set, run by hand every month, with a spreadsheet
"AI score" from a tool -> official dashboards: Search Console and Bing Webmaster
"llms.txt fixes it" -> optional, cheap item in the foundation, not the main deliverable

Non-branded searches: 8 clicks and 72 impressions. Baseline from 09/23/2026 (08/25–09/21).
Don't: "the site had 787 clicks." Most of those are people who were already looking for the name.
Do: "non-branded searches: X clicks and Y impressions. That's the number our work has to move."
04 · Practice: your offer on paper
Two short files you'll reuse throughout the course.
E1 · Positioning in 2 lines
20 min
Write your positioning from the template: who it's for, what you deliver and what you don't do.
Done when: the 2 lines don't name any tool, they name the four deliverables (or the ones you do), and they say at least one thing you don't promise.
E2 · Five promises swapped
25 min
List 5 requests you've heard (or imagine hearing) from a client and, next to each one, write the measurable deliverable you offer instead.
Done when: each of the 5 lines has a request and a deliverable with a number you can check (non-branded, indexed, questions where you appear).
05 · Test what you learned

Question 1 of 4
The client asks for "first place on Google in 90 days." Which answer keeps the client in month 6?skill
Correct
Ranking depends on Google and the competition. What you control is the work and the measurement. Guaranteeing closes the deal today and loses the client when the number doesn't come.

Question 2 of 4
In the inema.club baseline, 639 of the 647 clicks from the top searches were branded. What does that teach you about the client report?
Correct
The brand matters, but it isn't an effect of your SEO work. The non-branded number is what shows new people.

Question 3 of 4
Which of these is a deliverable you control?
Correct
A plan is your work, with a deadline and a metric. Citation and position are results of Google and the AIs; you measure them, you don't guarantee them.

Question 4 of 4
The client wants llms.txt "to show up in ChatGPT." What do you say?
Correct
It can go in the foundation because it costs little, but it's not a citation lever or something to sell on its own.
