The lessons
First, what changed and what it means to manage agents (lessons 1 to 4). Then the market, read with a critical eye: consulting firms, Brazil and career (lessons 5 to 7). Lesson 8 picks your first process and the next course.
Lesson 1 · 16 minThe third object of managementFor forty years, management coordinated two things: people and processes. Now a third has arrived, and it works alongside your team. In this lesson you walk through the five eras of management, see what each one added, and find out why 2027 is not about creating agents, but about answering for them.
Lesson 2 · 17 minManaging an agent looks like managing peopleWhat a company did with a new employee, it needs to do with each agent: give the role, the goal, the tools, the limits and the evaluation. The words change, not the logic. In this lesson you build the translation of a job into an agent, see the two items that people did not have, and learn where the comparison stops.
Lesson 3 · 17 minThe 9 management objectsThe 2027 manager does not manage only people. Agents, models, processes, tools, permissions, context, knowledge and compute budget all pass across their desk. Most of these objects already exist in your company and have no owner. In this lesson you build the map of the nine, with a name next to each one, and find out which course in the program looks after which.
Lesson 4 · 18 minThe 8 skills of the AI managerStrategy, work architecture, delegation, orchestration, governance, economics, evaluation and evolution. The first four decide what the agent will do; the last four, whether it keeps doing it. In this lesson you give yourself a score from 0 to 3 on each one, with one piece of evidence per score, and choose which course in the program to take next.
Lesson 5 · 20 minHow the market is reorganizingMcKinsey, Deloitte, Microsoft and Gartner publish about the agentic company almost every month, and those numbers reach your desk as a decision: cut, hire, promise. In this lesson you read what each one says and learn to separate research, self-reported experience and forecast. At the end, the owner of Horizonte shows up with a report, and you are the one who answers.
Lesson 6 · 17 minBrazil: lots of adoption, little managementThe 2026 surveys show Brazilian companies adopting AI and agents at a fast pace, and few with mature governance. The result shows up as loose projects, tools with no owner, and AI used on people's own initiative. In this lesson you read the Brazil numbers by checking the definition before the percentage, and you do the five-line diagnosis of your company.
Lesson 7 · 20 minCareer: who is adjusting and howWhen the agent handles the information handoff and the report, the work of whoever coordinates changes shape. Managers, juniors, HR and IT are adjusting in different ways, and the market already offers governance, security and vendor certifications. In this lesson you choose your own move, learn how to evaluate a certification, and leave with a 90-day plan.
Lesson 8 · 20 minYour first diagnosis + What changedThe best first step in the program is a process in your company, not a tool. The project for this course is the sheet for the first process you will manage with agents: owner, volume, today's measure and the course that answers your biggest question. At the end, what changed in the market this quarter, with date and source.
Who it is for
- 1Area managers, owners of small or mid-sized businesses, and operations or HR leaders who have, or soon will have, AI agents working on their team.
- 2People who don't code and don't want to: here you learn to manage. Building an agent is a different course.
- 3People who get a report every month saying "AI will change everything" and want to know what is fact, what is forecast and what to do on Monday.
What you will be able to do
- 1Explain why management gained a third object and translate people management into agent management.
- 2Put a named owner on each of the 9 management objects in your area and measure yourself on the 8 competencies.
- 3Read a McKinsey, Deloitte, Microsoft or Gartner report, separating survey, self-reported experience and forecast.
- 4Choose your career move, evaluate an outside certificate and pick your first process to manage with agents.
The case that runs through the program
- 1Horizonte Distribuidora, a 40-person fictional study company that distributes cleaning products in the interior of São Paulo.
- 2You play Patrícia Lima, sales manager, who received Hora, an agent that sells over WhatsApp. The process is the order that arrives on WhatsApp and goes all the way to invoicing.
- 3Every lesson has one practice at Horizonte, to train, and another at your own company or in your career, for real.
