👥 Choose the Actor
Platforms have libraries of AI “actors.” You search by genre, age, and type and chooses who will speak in your ad. The right actor creates an immediate connection with the viewer.
🔑 How to search
Filter by young adult, adult, or senior; man or woman; and style. In seconds, you have a “cast” to choose from.
🎯 Your Audience Avatar
Choose an actor who look like your ideal customer — same age range, same “world.” We trust people who are like us more.
💡 For a middle-aged+ audience
If your customer is 50 or 60, choose an actor in that age range. A face from the same generation says "this person understands me"—and that sells.
🔊 Voice is everything
The most important takeaway from the entire learning path: voice builds trust. If you can only put extra care into one thing, put it into the voice.
✓ What the audience forgives
- ✓A slightly homemade-looking image, imperfect lighting.
- ✓Simple setting, no production.
✗ What the audience does NOT forgive
- ✗Robotic voice, no emotion.
- ✗An odd, “machine-like” cadence.
🎙️ Record Your Own Voice
Instead of having AI "read" a text, you record yourself speaking, and the tool copies your cadence and delivers it in the avatar’s voice. A voice copied from a real person sounds much more natural than a voice "reading."
📊 Why it works better
AI doesn't copy the sound of your voice—it copies the way you speak: the pauses, emphasis, emotion. That's what makes the speech sound human, not robotic.
🎚️ Stability and Similarity
Two controls fine-tune the voice: stability (more firm vs. more expressive) and similarity (how much the voice resembles your recording). Adjusting these is what makes the voice truly sound natural.
A livelier, more varied voice (it may fluctuate).
A firmer, more consistent voice.
Move away from your recording.
Getting closer to your cadence.
✅ Validate before generating
Before generating the entire video, listen to the voice preview and adjust the speed and controls. Fixing it in the preview saves time and avoids generating a video with a bad voice.
✏️ Voice checklist
- Does it sound like a conversation, not a reading?
- Is the pace comfortable?
- Does the emotion fit the message?
