Education, community and systems: opportunities 20 to 29

This group is where the trust roles show up the most. Guides, courses, community and cohorts form the Trainer's ladder. The 90-day program is mentoring. Making the improvised app solid is review. And the large company is closed by training the internal team. The building that's left has lost its price, and the source says so in plain words.

Start the lesson
A small cohort of adults works in pairs with laptops and printed sheets while the instructor circulates among the tables.

In this lesson you will

  1. 1The Trainer's ladder: guide, community, cohort
  2. 2The 90-day program as mentoring
  3. 3The improvised app as review work
  4. 4Getting out of the large company without becoming a hostage

Goal: design the Trainer's ladder and recognize where the Mentor (90 days), the Auditor (improvised app) and the Consultant (large company) come in.

01Opportunities 20 to 29 in the filter

Seven move up, three are building. Click each box.

Click each block in the diagram to see what it does.

In a large company, handing over responsibility clearly is worth more than the monthly fee you give up.

02Four rules for this group

One per role.

1. Trainer

Opening the community with a price leaves you with a few people in an empty space. Bring people in for free, let the activity happen, and only then add paid layers.

Before creating your own program, go work as an instructor in one that already exists: you see the economics from the inside.

03Templates to copy

The sheet classifies the group. The question opens the conversation about the improvised app.

Classification sheet for a group
CLASSIFICATION SHEET · group <20 to 29> · <date>

For each opportunity:
- Dominant verb: teach / diagnose / review what exists / guide those who build / build
- Box: Trainer / Consultant / Auditor / Mentor / Building
- If Building: which service does it become part of? ______
- Sentence from the source that supports the classification: "______"
- Passes the 5 criteria? Y/N Y/N Y/N Y/N Y/N

Rule: if you can't find a sentence that supports the box, the classification is a guess.
Comment for someone who posted an improvised app
Congrats on the app. One practical question: when you need to change <a rule / a field / a screen>,
who does that today, and what usually breaks along with it?
I ask because that's the point where quickly built apps get stuck most later on.

04Practice

Two exercises.

1 · Sheet for group 20 to 29

25 min

Fill in the sheet for all ten opportunities and move the rows into your filter table.

Done when: all 10 opportunities have a box, a dominant verb and a sentence that supports the classification; the 3 buildings say which service they become part of.

2 · A useful question in public

15 min

Find a post by someone who built an app or automation with an easy tool. Adapt the template comment and post it.

Done when: the comment is posted, asks a specific question about what breaks later, and doesn't offer any service.

05Quick test

4 questions.

Question 1 of 4

You want to open a community about AI. What is the right order?
